Perhaps you are not familiar with the Lolcat. Or perhaps you have seen one, or heard of one, and never put two and two together. Lolcats are furry Internet denizens depicted saying things like "I HAS BEEN IGNORING UR SQUIDZ" and "LET ME SHOW YOU MY POKEMANS" in boldface text (compare the Lolhamster and the Lolrus). A brief introduction to the Lolcat can be found at Radio Open Source, and an extensive cataloging of Lolcats is available at I Can Has Cheezburger?

UPDATE: We have learned more about this fascinating species. Sometimes they are also called memecats. They can has grammar, and can be built from scratch online. They are also distantly related to the O RLY owl.
