Oxytocin, not OxyContin
OxyContin can ruin your life, or at the very least your pants, saith prescription drug abuse prevention posters.
Oxytocin is a naturally-produced hormone that plays a role in childbirth and lactation, including activating the "let-down reflex." It also makes us trust each other, bond with each other and want to take care of babies.
So the next time you're looking at your darling little one (or someone else's) and get all misty-eyed; just remember, it's the oxytocin. If you need a visual reminder, put the little rugrat in one of these, from the Made with Molecules people:
