Hotel Dog is Happy to See You
Guests of Boston's Fairmont Copley Plaza may make an appointment with Catie Copley, a three-year-old black Labrador retriever who "accompanies guests on walks and runs throughout the city, greets guests, visits during meeting breaks upon request and is a community liaison with participation in several neighborhood and charitable events."
A recent story in the Boston Globe assures readers that Catie is a Very Good Girl. As the hotel's director of concierge puts it, "'Her tail wags from the time she wakes up in the morning until the time she goes to sleep at night."
