Advances in tea-steeping software

Nathan Cosgray's Cuppa improves upon Herwig Henseler's Tea Timer (discussed here last March): it's open source, and you can create a beverage list with customized steeping times.

Use it from the Dock: just right-click or command-click on the teacup icon and select the beverage you are brewing. You'll see a teabag appear in the cup and gradually darken as the tea steeps... Also great for timing French press coffee and 2-minute noodles!

(Via macupdate. For Linux people, there's kteatime.)
