Of adorable computers
Do you remember the old Mac SE? It was a cute little computer with a small keyboard and mouse and a teeny screen. It had a whopping 1 MB of RAM. I fell in love with this computer in high school, in the days before the lab upgraded to fancy PowerMacs. I snuck in games of Tetris or breakout between school newspaper editing sessions on Aldus Pagemaker.
Now you can play with this adorable computer again, thanks to some German programmers who simulated System 7.0 in Flash. Watch the AfterDark screensaver in action. Giggle at the cute eyeballs that follow your cursor. Play Tetris and Breakout and Space Invaders and Pong. Doodle to your heart's content in MacDraw. Explore the dizzying array of five (!) fonts in MacWrite. Brush up on your German as you navigate the menus. (Wollen Sie MacWrite beenden? Ja!)
